computer does not turn on- Basic hardware troubleshooting

If your computer does not turn on after the power button on here we are giving some  Basic step by step trouble shooting.

First check:-Power cord not connected properly

See the power cord is connected properly to the Electricity plug  and the back of the computer power connector. If it connected properly disconnect and reconnect both ends of the power cord and reinsert both ends.

Important is  make sure the cable is not loose.

Also check Power strip or outlet like UPS
 turns everything off/on at once, disconnect the computer power from it and connect the cord directly to the wall outlet.

If not solved

Verify power cord is not bad or damaged try to  using another good  power cable and try



ATX Power supply and power button :- some power supply have power button just check its on

second is check ATX power supply working proper or not ...if have alternat power supply remove

ATX power suppy and check through new..Check existing power supply working or not

If you are build a computer, or it has no turned on it may be a defective or dead power supply that is not supplying enough power to hardware componet. so Verify your power supply meets the requirements of your hardware like motherboard, processor, and video card.
