Configure setup or assign a static IP on WD my cloud device

WD My Cloud lets you create your personal cloud. Store your photos, videos, music, and files in one place, and access your content anywhere. Access requires a MyCloud.com account, and each user needs one.also take backup from internal  backup through office ,private network.


Configure a My cloud device  first time 

follow this steps

1)Using a computer that is connected to the same network as the my cloud device (DHCP must for first time connection)

2) launch a browser

3)go to files.mycloud.com/setup
 Searching for your device window open here message shown
Be sure you device is on and connected to the same network as this computer.

4)connected device  successfully ,language and agreement window appear accept agreement and click on continue

5) assign administrator password to protect against unauthorized of your my cloud system




fill here information like
first name last name email id and click on next



Registered product window appear fill information and email id and click on next
Getting started window appear showing message Thats it You'll receive an email from Mycloud.com with our login info.

Done now login screen appear login with your administrator password which is assign setup time.

Now see how to assign same local network static ip address


Go to Setting

click on network

choose static and follow the simple steps next window Assign ip option shown ,assign here ip which you want  then click next now ask for save window open click on save for
change save and last click on apply
